Good news / Bad news
Good news - Our pool has received our permit for operation for the season from Environmental Health.

Bad news - Lifeguard re-certification planned for today and tomorrow was cancelled as COVID cases in Whitehorse has affected availability of our instructor. There is currently only one re-certification instructor in the Territory, so we are scrambling to either send staff to them in Whitehorse or re-schedule their trip to Dawson as soon as possible.

This means our opening is again up in the air as we do not have certified staff to operate the facility. We're all very disappointed by the situation, but we will find a solution. Once we know more, we will let you know.

What’s a Fob?
A Fob is an electronic key used to access the building. All users, whether they have a fob or not, will have to contact us to activate their fob. For those who don’t have one, we do take a $40 deposit on the key and must be purchased in person at the Waterfront building. When you wish to longer use the gym you can return your Fob for a full refund by way of cheque or on a debit card.

How much will my membership cost?
Memberships cost $35 a month. Or you can purchase three months for $88, 6 months for $165, one year for $319. For now all purchases have to happen in person at our office. 10% off for seniors.

How will I access the gym?
Gym will be open set hours ( 5am to 10pm). No booking is necessary. You are expected to leave the facility by 10pm so the building can be cleaned.

 What will the COVID protocols be?
8 people maximum in the gym at a time
Masks required between machines
 Users have to spray down equipment following use

 How will COVID protocols be monitored?
We trust users will follow protocols. Should users not be, we expect other users will let us know.
Areas are monitored by security cameras. Should users be breaking rules, including COVID protocols, memberships may be suspended.

Will showers be open?
We plan to open showers in May or once we’re comfortable that the system is working and cleaning can be ensured.

I have time left on my 10 punch pass, will it be honoured? 
We will subtract the amount left from the first month of membership

My account was suspended when COVID hit in 2020, will my remaining months be honoured?
Yes, we will honour suspended accounts, but all users need to contact our office to reactivate their accounts

Can Fobs be shared? 
NO. Each users needs a fob and individual membership. Any users caught to be breaking this rule will have their account suspended.
