The City of Dawson is pleased to announce a call for applications for a one-time development grant of $20,000 to support the construction of garden suites as rental housing.
- Garden suites must be constructed and used as rental housing for a minimum period of three years.
- Successful applicants must enter into an agreement with the City to rent the unit for a minimum of three years upon completion, at affordable rental rates defined as: $1,540/month (including utilities) or $1,240/month (excluding utilities)
- The unit must be constructed by December 1, 2026.

Deadline to submit Letter of Intent: June 20, 2025
Applications will be assessed on a first-come, first-served basis.
