Details:Minto Park was the Yukon’s first formal park and a landmark within our community. It has been designated a municipal historic site for its social, historic and aesthetic values. Since its inauguration, Minto Park has been the town’s venue for athletic games, community celebrations and events. This park is embedded in Dawson’s heritage and continues to play an important role within the community. Amenities include - a ball diamond - large playground with features for all ages - a concession building that includes a commercial kitchen, seasonal public washrooms, Parkside Program Room, and a large covered deck/picnic area. - a shared paved surface that houses a basketball court and tennis court, and a skate park.
