Public Notice: DO NOT SINK YOUR GREASE
The City advises residents that meat fats, oils, sauces, gravies, soups and dressings should not go down the drain. Grease congeals and sticks in the sewer system causing back ups and flooding. We thank you for your help in keeping our sewer system free of grease, fats, and oils!

Public Notice: Water Bleeders
The City advises residents that water bleeders should be turned off for the season. We thank you for your help in reducing water consumption in Dawson City.

2019 Budget Highlights
Dawson City Council recently approved a 2019 operating budget of $8,086,570 million. The budget, which includes a 10-year capital plan, enables the City to provide the services residents have come to expect while living within our means.

At their meeting on February 25th, Council approved the Canadian Bank of Commerce NHS: Five Year Plan

PUBLIC NOTICE: 2019 Business License Renewals
New year, new business license!  The 2019 renewal notices and invoices were mailed at the end of last year. Thank you for your help in making Dawson City a great community!

MAYOR AND COUNCIL SWORN IN TO OFFICE 
A swearing in ceremony was held October 29, 2018. Justice of the Peace Judith Blackburn-Johnson administered the official oaths.  Wayne Potoroka was sworn in as Mayor, Natasha Ayoub was sworn in as Councillor, Stephen Johnson was sworn in as Councillor, Bill Kendrick was sworn in as Councillor, and Molly Shore was sworn in as Councillor.
